Accommodation (Portsmouth)

I regularly get enquiries from student tenants as they finish their studies in Portsmouth and are going on to study elsewhere or are perhaps leaving Portsmouth to complete a work experience placement in another town or city in the UK. As my student houses are all in Portsmouth, I regret that I am unable to offer student accommodation elsewhere.

Quality Student Accommodation in “Other UK Cities”

During the summer months it is possible to rent a room to store your stuff, but it will be much cheaper for you to use a Self Storage facility. This is a good option if you don’t want to cart all your stuff home or if you are an overseas student going home for the summer months. There are 2 main companies in Portsmouth and, depending on the size, they offer student storage starting at about £5 a week. Do get 2 quotes and go for cheapest (including the insurance cost). Also do negotiate as prices do not seem fixed.
